| Description | This scrapbook is notable for the range and quantity of its contents, representing many aspects of student life at Bryn Mawr College. Included are matriculation examinations, college examinations, academic schedules, programs for events on- and off-campus, material relating to the Christian Association, formal and informal portraits and group portraits, campus photographs, formal and informal correspondence, political fliers and leaflets, a songbook, material relating to Commencement, and a variety of ephemera. Notable are a pamphlet of geology-related songs "for use in conferences and on excursions" and an essay composed by Davis entitled "Reasons why a woman wants the vote." This scrapbook is particularly valuable in juxtaposition with the extensive collection of Davis' diaries, journals, and letters, also in the Bryn Mawr College Archives. |
