I was pleased to get your letter, but you know there is very little to write about, from this place, which would be likely to interest, a volatile Miss--or, a young lady of 15, very little. It is most emphatically a forest where the lover of Nature, may muse at will, and adore all "Natures God."
Have you ever read Bryants [Bryant, William Cullen, 1794-1878] peice upon this theme? I think it is called "Thanatopsis." I would like to see it again, once having read it. Theodore Parker with his matchless intellect, held communion with God through Nature, and has written out himself in poetic prose
