The Committee appointed at out last Meeting to prepare an Address to our Members produced the following, which was read and united with and directed to be signed by the Clerk on behalf of the MEeting and the Committee are continued to have a sufficient number printed for circulation among our members.

Philadelphia Yearly Meeting
This meeting has been introduced into feelings of affectionate sympathy with Friends, under the various temptations and difficulties which may assail them, in the present agitated condition of our beloved country; and a fervent desire prevails that it may be our daily engagement to have our minds stayed upon the Lord, in humble quiet trust; seeking strength and wisdom from Him, faithfully to uphold those precious testimonies that belong tot he Gospel of Christ, and which, as a people, we have been divinely called to show forth to the world.
Whatever peculiar circumstances attach to the war which is now waging in our land, we would remind
