| Description | Marriage contract between Belenguer de Bardaxi (?) Bachilleren and Isabella Ram, the daughter of Thomas Ram and Sabrina de Barbasto. Gothic hand. Light brown ink. The first letter of text is slightly larger than the rest of the text. After the main text of the document, there is a gap, followed by a penwork notarial seal. To the left of the seal is "Sig.", the tail of which "g" forms the left arm of the seal. The right arm of the seal goes directly into a single line of text which is probably the notary's affirmation of the document. Bottom of the page contains three identical, evenly spaced markings that go off the edge of the page. The verso contains 4 different sections of writing, including a rather modern Spanish summary of the contents of the document. |
