Awbury 9 mo 8th 18671st dayMy dear Frank,I wrote a few lines to theeon 5th day eve's last to send by 7th day's steamer giving thee a little accountof the wedding, which was a greatsuccess, being very pretty and verypleasant. the bride looked better thanshe ever did before. but Thomas Evanswas the great charm of it, after allhe was so very agreable, and lookedso lovely and pure & good and askedso particularly after thee, and mention--ed having rec'd a letter from J Forsterlately in which he told of having hada most interesting visit from thee &thee had given him so much informa--tion about American Friends andhe hoped to have another visit fromthee which I suppose thee has paidby this time. I told him T. Evans about thyattending meeting with Smith Harrison
