Philada 9/26/87My darling wife, Thy letter written on the 7th day evening arrived this afternoon and altho I wrote thee a long letter this noon yet I feel constrained to commence another. Some-how I have thought of thee a great deal today and feel what a great blessing it is to have such a wife and that we love each other so much, I also feel that my Heavenly Father has been and is very good to me in showering upon me so many undeserved blessings and I often feel that my heart is cold and hard when it should be overflowing with love and gratitude.
