Phila 8 mo 26. 1862Dear DaughtersI found on getting home that Algey had an attack of dysentery - not serious I hope - but sufficiently severe to make us anxious. Dr. D[----] attends him in the daytime & Uncle [----] at night. He is more comfortable this morning than he was yesterday through the day & I hope is better, but he has been rather better early in the morning each day since was taken.
