Dear Anna I received thy letter on out arrival here last evening. I presume this blank sheet was enclosed as a hint to write on something else than Postal Cards, which hint I take, with that [------ty] in falling into the news of others which so characterizes the family. In reply to thy inquires I will say that both horses & travelers are well.We feared a little for the former yesterday as one of them did not feel well at Reading & both eat little where we stopped to dinner. But we drove them gently & the [-----] told me this morning that they eat well last night & this morning &
