Dear Lillie I give overleaf a memorandum of thy income deposited this month. There is not much to report from home. Margaret came yesterday to pay Ellie a visit & I am going to drive with them this afternoon - either Alfred or Jonathan - as way opens - taking the position of [----]. Jack still lives & I think will make thee a nice horse for next winter if we can keep him up till then. Bachelors Hall works very smoothly. The bureaus have gone to be varnished & the painters are coming to decorate the interior next week. Ask Anna
