Dear Lillie As the last basket of peaches seems to have gone straight I shall send another tomorrow - directed as the last to Dimock. I found out the reason of some of the miscarriages was the want of a proper understanding between the Reading R.R. & the Adams Express & that on one occasion at least the basket had been carried down to the 7th & Chestnut before it was allowed to go which of course made it miss the train. The baggage man - like many another man - [---ed] in a little brief authority plays such fantastic tricks as makes the owners of the baggage weep. I suppose Hazen [---------] you before
