Dear Lillie I rec'd thy letter this morning & was glad to hear that Frankies Birthday festivities passed off happily. As to the croquet set, it or its substitute will I trust be forthcoming before long. I am only sorry that [Wanamakers] or the Railroads or somebodys neglect should occasion any extra trouble to Tom now that he has more than his share of family & mill oversight on his hands.
