The Kimball, L.E. Kimball, Propr. Northeast Harbor, Mt. Desert, Me., 9mo 1 1895 Dear Mother, As the enclosed letter sent to Carrie ought to be forwarded to thee I will not send it without a line. Before I go further let me give thee a message from Anna. She sends a great deal of love and many thanks for thy nice long letter. There seems very little time she can devote to writing and consequently she is wofully behind in her correspondence. I have been disappointed in the weather here in regard to the coolness. I suppose, however, this is an exceptional August from what they say. but really it has not been much, if any, cooler than it usually has been at Mrs. Lovings. There is no typical sea breeze here.
