I am almost afraid that the writing of this letter will be worse than that of my letters in general as my hand shakes some today. What the cause of its shaking is I do not know. We received thy letter on 4th day. I was beginning to fear you were not going to write before father came out here as I suppose he will come next 2nd day week. This letter & the one Tommy writes to day makes 10 letters we have written home while we have received but 4. If Sister Mary dont write soon I shall write to her & I guess that will be the last for this session at least untill she writes. The other day the labourers out here struck for higher wages but as they did not succeed in getting them they went quietly to labour again. I think it would be well if those in town would do so too. Last night I dreamt I went in town to get Master Daniels [-------] but I suppose I need not place reliance on this dream although I wish it would come to pass.
