My dear Lilly and Chelly,
I think you would quite have enjoyed being out at Grandpa’s the day Uncle Tom brought me out your letters for we had such a nice time reading them and Harry and all enjoyed them so much- you know we all wanted to hear how you were and what you were doing and so I read them aloud to Harry, and Hettie & Ellie Stokes and the Wood’s, and we concluded they were pretty nice letters. As for Harry he fairly shouted for joy to hear that the Gerhard’s were there. He says he misses you very much indeed and that he has school every day by himself and that
