Dear Tom & Scrubby.
I did write a few lones to thee Scrubby from Kendal but I rec'd such a nice letter from thee last Fifth day that I concluded to send thee a longer one; & as I have already rec'd two letters from Tom I thought it would be well to kill two birds with one stone-so here goes-We saw the first of this lake last Fourth day afternoon
