Dear Mother
It certainly does not seem over two weeks ago that I saw you at Aldine, and I can scarcely tell what I have been doing with myself. The Sophomore-Freshman debate caame off the Third-day of the week after I saw you, and so I was pretty busy preparing for that. Unfortunately we lost. It was the first thing the Freshmen had beaten us in, so we were rather sour. Then the next night came the Entertainment for the Preston Boys' Club. I had no idea of staying till the dance but go to talking and didn't get back till after twelve! It was very good fun and I enjoyed it very much. It is rather good fun to watch other people dance even though you don't dance yourself. It was a success financially too, and we cleared $156.25 all of which, I am glad to say was given to the Boys' Club through Dr.
