Today is our town muting[?] day & I have to go to Kingston in a few minutes to vote for the first time. I am sorry I have not much time to devote to thee. I have intented writing for some time but thought I would not send such a little note as I am now doing but thee sees I have been obliged to succumb. I shall often think of thee & when I get to Philada thee may expect letters more frequently. Mother says thee may perhaps come down to make a visit to the city this winter. I hope so & shall be very glad to meet thee there.
