I have been sent for on account of the serious illness of a very dear Aunt, Phebe R. Garrett. I feel that I must go without delay but I hope to find her better and that she may recover so that I can leave her without anxiety in a few days.
I regret that this should be an interruption to the studies of E. and R., but I think that I have arranged so that there need be but little during my absence. Harriet and Hannah will hear their recitations
