My dear Anna, Does thee think me a very naughty sister not to have written to thee all summer. I really don't know how it has happened. I meant to have written to thee long ago, but somehow there are always so many letters that have to be written in summer that I find it difficult to keep up to it all. My arm too has given me a little tremble & that always scares me & makes me inclined to be very cautious. So thee will excuse me I know dear. And
