Newport, July, 6th, 1878
Dearest Clemmy,
I wonder
where your darling little ladyship is at this moment? I
wish it was here amid all the greenness & breezes of
Newport, Ocean Airs, & perhaps you are or are Coming as I
know you do sometimes. For me – You know I was with my
dear Aunt last winter & now that she has taken this fine
house I am with her Still – & certainly it is the perfection
of living. My Aunt has taken the whole house it is neat &
handsome & an excellent table – $1.000 per month. when we
are at breakfast our rooms are arranged.
