Dear Mother & sisters,
Its
quite long since I have written to you & I expect you think
it strange I have not acknowledged the rect of the [---] by
express wh. arrived safely & timely. I have not written
because I have been in such a whirl all the week that I
really have not been able to get a needful amt of sleep I
knew too that you wd. be occupied with the wedding, & wld.
not miss my letter. I suppose the nuptials are over & I
hope passed off satisfactorily — I shall expect a full acct.
