              Dear Friend 
New Bedfor[d] 1 mo 21 1846 –

Your
letters were as duly received as unduly attended to.  Not
however that I did not make search for the subscription
paper. actual[--] mon ami by two reasons one to comply with
your request & another to trump up certain delinquents whose
names were therein appended to certain generous figures
which have not as yet been Transferred to my Pocket Book. --
Troubles in the family have since then as you surmised
interfered with all other matters and hence. -- -- --.  But
if I cant find it. put us down viz. W.H. Hussey Jack do. Ed
Rudman Tom do. S.R. Morgan Ben Barker Job A.T. Eddy. Rob’ B
Howland. Ch. Osborne. Aug. & myself for the whole amot.
