Woodbourne 7/22/1906My dear Caroline,Thy very nice letter of the 25th of June from [C...?]reached me just after I had mailed my last to you. I was surprised to find you still lingering in Italy but hope by now you have found a more bracing climate. I should think that would be most important for Annette. I do feel so sorry that her leg is giving her trouble again. Did not the Lindon doctor tell you it was the nerve & not the bone that was effected? I understood it that way. At any rate I should suppose that it was most important to build up her general health. Poor Father has had a very suffering time this summer with the Shingles.
