Transcript	Awbury Aug 9th 1874 Dear Lily I got thy very nice note day before yesterday and was very glad to get it. Yesterday was very rain and about 7 o-clock it just poured. Haines and High Street & Locust Avenue bridges were all washed away and a man and a and a boy were going along Locust avenue after dark
