My dear Anna
I have wanted to answer thy nice little letter to me for so long and does thee know that the reason I have not done it is because I have so many people to write to this summer, that I forgot to write to my nearest relatives, that is to say my family. I had such a nice time up at Montrose. Agnes & Franky were full of fun & Aunt Carrie & I played with them.
