My dearest brother,
Would thee be willing to buy us a basket of peaches on 7th day morning and send them down by the 2.10 trian marked Francis Stokes borrowings, via Perryville- Hannah craves some very much and Dr. Sappington says she may eat a little. They are not to be had here for love or money. Thee can pay for them out of the money thee has of mine.
Poor dear H. does not seem to improve much & her spirits have failed, so
